COVID Vaccine, Part I

THIS IS A MUST-READ!

Hi friends, you all remember Abigail. She has received the first dose of the COVID vaccine and talks about her experience. As an active cancer patient, her doctors took additional precautions to make sure she would be okay after the vaccine, and that it would be effective. I applaud her for being so brave. It sounded like she was really between a rock and a hard place as she and her doctors made the decision to go with the vaccine.

No Half Measures

I’ve seen so many people assert quite confidently that the COVID vaccine is perfectly safe and an equal number of people quite confidently say that it is not at all safe. Who is right?

I have no idea.

Were you thinking I’d say something else? I do have a lot of opinions and I’m not usually shy at sharing them, but this is just too big for me to assert my own perspective. What I have done is follow my doctor’s advice and asked for her input every step of the way. What I have done is to weigh the risk/benefits as best I can to make the best decision possible. What I have done is considered the entire circumstances, not just myself, as I look at my choices. What I have done is consider reliable data and not anecdotal hype on both sides of the argument, as so many…

Hi, I'm Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. For thirty-five years, I lived in the most beautiful area in Central Valley of California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains minutes from the Sequoia National Park. As a child I moved from Indiana to Oregon. With my first husband I moved from Oregon to Colorado to California. Every time we moved, it hurt so much to leave friends. I never wanted to move again. After Mark passed, I married again. I told Vince that I could never budge from my roots in California. He said he loved the high desert. I don't think he ever thought he would realize his dream. In November, 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince's sister came with us and lives close by. Every day is a new adventure.

        1. I’ve been a little nervous about vaccines pre-COVID. I’m going to talk to my new oncologist as well next week when I see him. He comes highly recommended and I’ll ask his opinion. We live a relatively sheltered lifestyle especially since we moved away from our friends in CA. Most of them are getting the vaccine.

  1. Something to consider: From a friend, we did a little research, and discovered, as we understand, the vaccine creation utilizes abortion tissue. Other vaccines we have researched, discovering, as we understand, the utilization. In the times we live, we aren’t told the full background of much that goes on. For instance, we don’t shop with companies that support abortions or removing our constitutional freedoms. Easy to look up if one researches. Might have to use different search engines.
