Looking for #WQWWC?

We moved yesterday. Our internet is now up, but I just rolled out of bed after a night with howling cats because they got scared in a new place. It sounded like a trip to the vet. I moved boxes and papers and cleared a space on my computer table to slide my computer in front of Vince’s.

Submitted for Becky B’s Square Up Challenge MESSED UP

I know it is one of those lame excuses.

Yvette from Priorhouse Blog agreed to host #WQWWC this week, and here is a link to her post yesterday. Like a numbskull, I didn’t announce it until my last post for Sunday Stills/Lens Artists Cee’s, Becky B’s and Colleen’s latest challenges. Thank you so much Yvette for hosting this week!!! Please post your replies and pingbacks on her blog this week.

To get started I have all the topics listed on my #Writer’s Quotes Wednesdays Writing Challenge page. This week’s topic is “Persistence” if you want to get a head start.

Autty Jade is my guest hostess next week. You will remember she hosted a few weeks ago about the topic, “New Beginnings.” Don’t forget to leave your comments and pingbacks on their blogs for today and next Wednesday.

Thank you for your love of quotes and writing. I’ll be visiting all the pingbacks, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

See you back here on Always Write in two weeks. Thanks for joining us. ๐Ÿ™‚

Author: Marsha

Hi, I'm Marsha Ingrao, a retired educator and wife of a retired realtor. My all-consuming hobby is blogging and it has changed my life. My friends live all over the world. For thirty-five years, I lived in the most beautiful area in Central Valley of California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains minutes from the Sequoia National Park. As a child I moved from Indiana to Oregon. With my first husband I moved from Oregon to Colorado to California. Every time we moved, it hurt so much to leave friends. I never wanted to move again. After Mark passed, I married again. I told Vince that I could never budge from my roots in California. He said he loved the high desert. I don't think he ever thought he would realize his dream. In November, 2020, we sold everything and retired to the mile-high desert of Prescott, AZ. We live less than five miles from the Granite Dells, four lakes and hundreds of trails with our dog, Kalev, and two cats, Moji and Nutter Butter. Vince's sister came with us and lives close by. Every day is a new adventure.

    1. Well, you can see some of the things in my square messed up that didn’t get done. LOL. I don’t normally show off my house when it is messy, but I’ve been blessed with a messy house a lot this year. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m looking forward to Friday when I post your interview. Becky. ๐Ÿ™‚ Your interview is so interesting. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

          1. You are welcome, Becky. I hoped this was a fun experience for you. I enjoyed getting to know you better so much. Thanks again for participating in the Challenge Host Interview series. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Everyone should get a free pass when moving, Marsha! I’m sure you are relieved to be in your new place and get on with it. We drove the 30 miles to Idaho again yesterday to shop at some furniture stores. We ended up buying/ordering counter-height chairs back here in Spokane for the new island in our home. We get them toward the middle of February when the house should be ready. Enjoy unpacking and decorating the new place!

    1. A day late and a dollar short. Isn’t that how the quote goes, Frank? Moving has made me several dollars short, come to think of it. LOL. The good news is we bought a great little used couch (and that’s hard to find) that looks amazing with our recliners and fits into the living room perfectly. I love my new home. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hi Lisa, It was absolutely the right choice for us, moving from a house on an acre to a condo has meant freeing ourselves of a lot of stuff. We have hit the hard part of where to put all the things we chose to keep. Would you believe I moved a box of paper towels? Yikes!

        1. It took a long time to convince me to leave my friends, Lisa. You can’t take life-changing decisions lightly. I hope you are as happy with your decision as we are with ours. ๐Ÿ™‚ Blogging helps a lot with the loneliness. I can honestly say that I have not been lonely. ๐Ÿ™‚
