A constructor worker threw away his working boots because the pair was damaged by cement. Over time, due to the roughness of the construction site and the sole was separated.
In light of the photo, here my compete sentence “If the shoe fits then you know the origin of the sole but do not even think about gluing them back together. Buy a new pair. 🙂 “
You’re over my head again, Ralph. No one knows about the www??? I feel like Sheldon, was that … sarcasm? Good think I was just kidding. You can’t believe everything you read on the WWW. Have a great weekend, MFR! 🙂
very fun quote – and the shoe reminded me about how we take for granted that more shoes do not come apart. – and maybe many of us take for granted having a lot of shoes (compared to days when people owned a pair or none)
anyhow, I once had a paid of shoes fall apart – they were these black leather shoes and the right shoe partly pulled away from he sole while I was working – I had a click for the remainder of the day (not too bad) but coming home – it all came apart – and who would have expected that – cheap junky shoes (and they were at a discount store and so who knows why….)
anyhow, I have also had flip flops come apart – but not too many shoes….
hm
This shoe does speak louder than words. Cool find and capture.
