At one stage I could see the ocean straight down the cliff edge. It was nerve wracking!

You picked the wrong side! You should have let Glen bite his nails. I don’t think he would have been quite as nervous. Even the pictures make me nervous. Thinking about that big truck wearing down the road on that outer edge, as he dodged the traffic. We had a bunch of rocks come down the mountain onto the highway where we live. We got there after the fact, but that would have caused damage to a few nails, too! 🙂

I kept telling myself hundreds of vehicles do that drive every day without mishap. I hope no rocks landed on any cars.

I didn’t see any, but the police were there and traffic backed up a ways. By the time we came back a couple of hours later it was gone. We were surprised because some of the boulders were good size.
