This picture contrasts not only light and dark, hot and cold, but has good and evil within the same object.

Contrast1

The steamy waffle mingled  companionably with ice-cold ice cream tickling my palate!  The day I ate it, the waffle named Love, was good.  The next day when I stepped on the scale, it was evil.  Go figure! (That’s exactly what is happening to mine, one waffle at a time!)  🙂

Contrast 2

Thanks Mary for introducing me to such a great sin. (There’s a naughty contrast.)

  1. Costco used to carry some great frozen waffles created by Vans. Like everything at Costco, though, they will carry something for a while and if it sells well, then they will have Kirkland create a brand to sell. Unfortunately the Kirkland brand of frozen waffles taste like frozen cardboard and Vans isn’t carried in any of the regular grocery stores. Thus my waffle fix rarely gets satisfied nowadays.

    1. Come see me, Russel Ray. I have a waffle maker, and I make a mean waffle. After sampling these waffles, I could come up with some interesting concoctions! 🙂

      1. Hahaha. When I’m eating desserts, I try not to let people take too much away from my dish if they want to sample it. I know how you feel and what you did 😉
