On one of my first dates with my husband Vince, he thought he was complimenting me when he told me that I was “sure well-maintained for my age,” (barely 43 at the time). Today at age 61, I am still well-maintained, but Vince has since learned that he gets better results by telling me I look beautiful. He’s a smart man.
I saw one of my favorite maintainers on Monday in Brentwood, CA. Dr. Peter K. Moy is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Peter K. Moy gets a gold star in my book! If you never need to see him, good for you. That means your face turned out well on its own. If you do have facial issues, then he is your man. Unfortunately, he doesn’t fix things like wrinkles and spots on your face, Dr. Stephens takes care of some of those things. Dr. Moy digs a little deeper and gets down to the bone problems. You might want to close your eyes, now. You might be eating dinner. I won’t tell you details of the operation, but I did include one toothy picture! I got a clean bill of health, too – WELL MAINTAINED, Marsha 🙂
STOP READING HERE if you are squeamish!
I have a special page about the operation that corrected my alveolar cleft, if you are interested for some reason: you’re a medical type person, or happen to need an oral & maxillofacial surgeon, or you are just curious about me. 🙂
P.S. I don’t usually get this up close and personal with folks, but as a former dental assistant I think it’s interesting. Granted, it would be better if it wasn’t me, but it is. I kept the picture small for those of you who are not into teeth! I cropped it, too so you wouldn’t have to look at my whole mouth – That really would be TMI. I did brush my teeth, but remember I am 61, and I haven’t whitened my teeth.
