Wonderful Team Member Award

As I happily make this post, I complete my long-overdue responses to the wonderful folks that nominated me for awards.   J.G. Burdette, one of my favorite writers, nominated me for the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award.  I DO deserve this award, particularly from her, because I love to read her articles.  They are more than posts.  She writes beautifully narrated biographies which always include snip-its of little known facts on historic folks.  (Yes, you might guess that I like history!)  Thank you so much J.G.!!!  I love reading your writing.  I have learned so much!!!  🙂

Rules: (i) Don’t forget to thank the nominator and link back to their site as well; (ii) Display the award logo on your blog; (iii) Nominate no more than fourteen readers of your blog you appreciate and leave a comment on their blogs to let them know about the award; (iv) Finish this sentence: “A great reader is…” A great reader is the best blogging friend one can have.”  Thanks to my readers who encourage me to reach for the stars.

I choose the following blogs to win this award.  Most of them are funny as well as being good readers and responders.  Enjoy visiting them.  (Drumroll please)

Congratulations to:

  1. ruleofstupid
  2. An electric journal of a castaway
  4. Guapola
  5. The Bottom of a Bottle

I have a favor to ask.  A friend of mine is a photographer, and has a fan page on Facebook.  She only needs a few more likes to be able to see her administration page.  Here is the link if you would like to like her.  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Alchemie-Design/143512848997452?fref=ts.

Thank you so much!!!!  🙂

And as long as you are already liking folks, if you want to like my not-so-new fan page too, I’ll send you tons of smiles for when you’re feeling blue and down in the dumps.  🙂  https://www.facebook.com/MarshaIngrao  That’s mine – just in case???

  1. I wish I could help you out with the facebook likes, but I have never joined facebook. I think I might be the only non-facebook connected human being on the planet. I love your picture and smiles. I’ll just have to connect back to this page to see them!!!! Off to check out your nominees. 🙂

    1. Kathy, I don’t think you have to be a FB person to like a fan page, but I could be wrong about that. I’m not an expert. FB has its advantages and disadvantages. Not too many people use it consistently – me included. It can get overwhelming especially if someone like me reposts things – more than one post a day can be obnoxious. I’ve had real friends unfriend me over that. No offense taken on my part. I understand. I hate that I have over 1,000 unread emails counting all my accounts, but to clean them all out would take an enormous amount of time. Lots of love and best wishes for a New Year to you, my friend (real, not FB) Marsha 🙂

  2. You asked a very deep and contoversial question in your last picture and you have me stumped. I have looked everywhere, under the teddy jigsaw, under the table. I give up. Give me a clue.

  3. Congrats on your well deserved award, Marsha. The answer to your question is the title of my favourite Chris de Burgh song. 🙂 Happy New Year to you, and anyone else who reads my comment here.

    1. Your answer had me stumped. I am SO uncultured. I don’t associate musicians with song titles, in fact I sort of gloss over the important part and just flip right to the music. I hear the unrelated tunes in my head. So I first I had to reread my article to find the question, and I had to read it twice to find that because it is so small. Then I had to look up Chris de Burgh, et voila, there on the Google page was the answer, and I went no farther. My head started humming the song title listed right by his name, and, of course, you are right. hahaha 🙂

Your babbling is music to my ears. Please leave a comment!
